Southill & Villages Christmas Tree Festival

Looking for something to do over the weekend.  Why not collect a trail map and voting slip from the school office on Friday 4 December between 9am - 3pm or All Saints Church on Saturday 5 December between 10am - 2pm and take a tour of the villages festive trees, doors or windows.  Cost to take part is £3.00 with all monies raised going towards the upkeep of All Saints Church and the Need Project (Food Bank).  Post your voting slip through the school letter box and the winners will receive a prize.

From Saturday 5 December, running up to Christmas All Saints Church, Southill will be starting a Spoonville around their Christmas tree.  They would like to invite children and adults to decorate a wooden spoon as a nativity figure (king, shepherd, sheep, etc), go along to the church and place them in the ground around the Christmas tree.  If you would like to write a prayer or place a memory tag on the spoon, you are welcome to do so.  The hope is that this will give the children something to remember when our normal events may not be taking place whilst also brightening up the villager.  There is not cost to take part.
